In their own words
Wattana T.
Bangkok — consulted May 2025
"I came in not knowing what questions to even ask. By the end of the conversation I had a much clearer picture — not just of the law, but of the different directions I could take. The lawyer was unhurried and spoke plainly. I felt heard."
Siriporn R.
Nonthaburi — mediation, April 2025
"We were both nervous about the process, but the mediation sessions were calm and structured. The agreement that came out of it covered things I had not even thought to include. The written document was thorough and clearly explained."
James M.
British expat, Bangkok — full matter, March 2025
"As someone unfamiliar with Thai legal processes, I was relieved to find a practice that works in both English and Thai. I always knew what was happening and why. The communication was consistent throughout — never left wondering."
Nattaya C.
Samut Prakan — consulted February 2025
"The consultation gave me something I needed badly at the time — clarity. I came in feeling overwhelmed, and I left with a much more manageable sense of what the actual steps might look like. The fee was entirely fair for what I received."
Pornpimol L.
Bangkok — full matter, January 2025
"A complex matter that took several months. I was kept informed at each stage without having to chase for updates. The lawyer who handled my case was the same person throughout, which made an enormous difference. I did not feel like a file number."
Akira K.
Japanese national, Bangkok — mediation, May 2025
"The bilingual drafting was important for my situation. The agreement was prepared in both languages and explained to me carefully. The pace of the process suited both parties and nothing felt imposed. A considered and professional experience."

How we have helped in practice
Details have been changed to protect privacy. These illustrations are shared with permission.
The situation
A Thai national living in Bangkok was considering ending a long marriage but had no clear understanding of what the process involved, what it would cost, or how property and parenting arrangements typically worked in practice.
What we did
We held a 90-minute consultation in which we listened carefully, explained the relevant provisions of Thai family law, and laid out the realistic range of options — from cooperative dissolution to contested proceedings — without recommending any particular route.
The outcome
The client left with a clear written summary and a much more settled sense of the available paths. They subsequently returned for mediation support and reached a cooperative agreement within two months, at significantly less cost than a contested process would have required.
The situation
A Thai woman and her European husband, both based in Bangkok, needed to formalise arrangements regarding their children and jointly owned property. Both parties were willing to discuss, but neither wanted the matter to become adversarial.
What we did
We facilitated three mediation sessions over six weeks, ensuring that both parties had equal time to raise their concerns. We then prepared a bilingual written agreement covering parental responsibilities, residence arrangements, and the handling of jointly held assets.
The outcome
Both parties signed the agreement. The process remained cooperative throughout. Both clients reported that the structured mediation environment helped them maintain a working relationship — which was particularly important given shared parenting responsibilities.
The situation
A client facing a contested family matter involving children and disputed assets required full legal representation. The matter involved formal court documentation, multiple hearings, and a process that extended over several months.
What we did
We handled all aspects of the case from preparation through to resolution — including document filing, court attendance, and ongoing communication with the client at each stage. We explained every step before taking it and ensured the client understood both progress and remaining uncertainties.
The outcome
The matter reached resolution within the expected timeframe. The client reflected afterwards that the most valued aspect of the service was not having to face the process alone — and knowing that the same lawyer was present and informed throughout.
